Eliot delights in guiding you in the practice of yoga to discover the beauty and magnificence of your true Self. Her passion for the connection of all things has led her to study holistic nutrition, ReiKi healing and yoga. She finished Anusara Teacher Training in 2010, certified in hatha yoga and practices Iyengar yoga.
Her classes emphasize proper body alignment in a heart-warming and loving way. As a way to introduce students into a deeper inquiry of the Self, she always includes rich, inspirational teachings sourced in the wisdom and grace of the non-dual Shaivite schools of Kashmir, which she gratefully studies with her meditation teacher, Paul Muller Ortega.

Melissa started practicing yoga in 2004 and fell in love with it immediately. She is constantly amazed at all the benefits that yoga has to offer, not just physically, but mentally and emotionally as well. Her passion for yoga led her to wanting to share it with others.
In 2009, she completed her Hatha Yoga Teacher certification plus Radiant Child Yoga. She continues learning by taking courses and workshops whenever possible, most recently Love Your Brain Yoga (LYB) and Kids Yoga. She also offers workshops such as Partner Yoga, Family Yoga and her own Bliss Yoga!
Melissa is also a Registered Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT) working with clients privately and in a physiotherapy clinic.

Carrie's life-long exploration of classical pilates, West African and Afro-Cuban dance, Middle Eastern Dance, Hip Hop, Salsa and Jazz, Brazilian Capoeira and a wide range of yoga styles has provided the foundation from which she has built a movement therapy practice.
Integrating training in rhythm patterns, floor work, barre work and standing work with her personal experience of chronic pain, body trauma and recovery, she focusses on building strength from the inside out. With the help of music, her light-hearted approach to toning and opening the body encourages people to tune in with their own ways of releasing tension, pain and energy with a focus on positivity, curiosity and wonder.
Her students love that Carrie's classes are curated specifically for the bodies in the room, physically challenging and infused with humor. Carrie loves to move and to get folks moving.
Cathia discovered a passion for yoga 11 years ago. Better energy, mood, balance, harmony and healing are all good reasons why she has made yoga her lifestyle.
With the intention to share her love for the discipline and its many benefits, she directs her teaching to the union and the expression of the whole being. She guides her students with fun, humor and depth to discover their own personal source.
With over 1000 hours of teaching under her belt, Cathia continues to refine her knowledge through various workshops.
Cathia is a psychotherapist by training, and she also offers workshops on managing stress and anxiety through yoga.
After a long career as a speech therapist in France and Canada, Sophie studied art therapy and received a Masters degree at UQAT (Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue). Self-taught collagist and passionate about writing and creativity, Sophie then studied the Creative Journal method at the Jet d’Ancre school in Granby, Qc with Anne Marie Jobin, the founder of this approach.
Fascinated by everything related to well-being, Sophie also holds a certification in Kundalini Yoga from the Kundalini Research Institute (KRI) and a certification in Laughter Yoga.
Sophie regularly leads workshops and retreats in Canada and abroad and has been working for several years at the Carmen Centre in Gatineau as an art therapist with people suffering from cancer.
Sophie’s strength lies in the uniqueness of her approach: the meeting of creativity, laughter and yoga to help the physical and emotional well-being as well as the spiritual development of the people around her.
In September 2013, Sophie has enthusiastically joined the Centre Yoga Aylmer team where she offers a weekly class of Kundalini yoga and a monthly gong relaxation-meditation workshop. Sophie Terrasse, who lives in Ottawa, is the founder of the Institut Tournesol, Capitale Du Rire and Club de Rire Tournesol d’Ottawa.
Chantal’s intention is to create a positive space where students of every level can work towards creating a long and strong physique.
Her class is calm and welcoming yet delivered with clear and concise instruction, focusing on proper form and breathing. She encourages her students to be present and listen to their bodies throughout the class for optimum results.
