There is nothing that is not consciousness

Foundations of non-dual Tantra

By way of compelling home study and monthly group sessions, read, contemplate and discuss the teachings of non-dual Tantra, particularly Trika-Kaula Tantra, as taught by the great Master Teacher, Abhinavagupta.

- What is consciousness and how does it manifest in the manifold universe?

- Why do I seem to only know myself as an embodied individual?

  • What is my fundamental nature and how come I don’t know it already?

  • What is the nature of suffering and why does it exist?

  • Can there be freedom of suffering and how?

These enticing questions and many more will be brought forward, considered and answered according to what has been taught and explained by the great masters of consciousness who formed the non-dual Tantric Schools of India.

Non-dual Śaiva Tantra teachings are of great philosophical, mystic and yogic interest, particularly because they exquisitely contain a complete theoanthropocosmic vision, a vision that clarifies speculations and underlies practice.

Trika-Kaula Tantra teaches that there is no future moment that will be better. The fullness of existence in it most divine reality is present and available here and now. We have but to in a state to perceive it. There are methods to support the process of clearing the obstacles to that more clarified state.

It is only recently that these teachings have come to light. For centuries now, the great ocean of teachings of the non-dual Śaiva tantric traditions were either lost or forgotten, except to a very select few awakened beings. Now there seems to be a pivoting point in our consciousness as human beings, and it is as if we are calling these teachings forward to assist us in our path to become our more full conscious selves.

Group study sessions will be once-a-month, on Fridays, from 4pm to 6pm

A lot more than we can ever imagine is written about the mystery of Reality that we so often wonder about. If we can pierce just a bit into the wisdom that has been so compassionately left to us by ancient wise masters, we will support and accelerate the beautiful process of deeper knowing that our āsana and meditation practice bring about.

A wholesome yoga practice includes svādhyāya, self study in the form of reading, reciting and contemplating sacred scripture. Eliot will guide participants in the
recitation of the Sanskrit verses, give ample translations from various sources, offer masterful commentary provided by great teachers alongside her very own contemplations and insight.

«  Dear Eliot,
I can not express my gratitude better than how you did to us in your beautiful text which I would have liked to write for you, who is enriching my life with your teaching. It’s now almost six years since I first walked through the wooden door leading to your studio and despite a practice not always assiduous, I knew I would continue with you my yoga practice. And now with the meditation and the readings of the Yoga Sutra of Patanjali, I believe I have undertaken a process that will accompany me a long time ...
