Danika is an amazing yoga teacher who is undertaking a mentorship with Eliot to hone and refine her teaching skills.  Join her for her class as she practices her new teaching skills!

Not only will you be doing something great for yourself by taking a yoga class, but 100% of the proceeds are raised to help a boy named Jonah.

Jonah Lamirande lives in Aylmer with his mother and two big sisters, Adria and Cloe.  Jonah has been at CHEO since early August where he celebrated his 13th birthday. He was originally in critical condition due to an infection to his brain caused by viral encephalitis. He has started to regain movement in his body, wonderful news for a family who was originally told that he could remain paralyzed for the rest of his life. 

His progress is slow and prognosis is still unclear because they have not been able to stop the swelling of his brain.

Your help for this family will be greatly appreciated given his mother, a single mom (with all extended family in Ireland), has closed her daycare to be by Jonah’s side full time.
