Eliot Acuña

Eliot is a certified Iyengar Yoga teacher and an authorized teacher of Neelakantha Meditation as taught in Blue Throat Yoga.

She is a lifelong student of Sanskrit, Yoga, Tantra and many mystical traditions under the tutelage of internationally reknown scholars and teachers, apart from her continued studies at Oxford University’s Center for Hindu Studies.

She delights in the opportunity to teach and offer the authentic, elegant and effective teachings and practices of the yoga tradition. Eliot beautifully transports the teachings and practices from ancient lineages to modern times, makes them applicable to our lives, and maintains their authenticity. Because she sources her knowledge from the profundity of her own personal experience and study, her classes overflow with substance and attract and serve sincere and devoted practitioners.

In a very natural and skilful way, she guides students to deepen their knowledge of reality and to integrate life-affirming and uplifting knowledge into their everyday life through study and practice. For many years now, she has been teaching weekly group classes, lectures and meditation as well as regular workshops and retreats in Canada and abroad.

She teaches in English, French and Spanish.

Myrielle Bernier-Acuña

Myrielle Bernier-Acuña, professional dancer, licensed Fletcher Pilates® Provider and yoga teacher, graduated from the professional ballet program at The School of Dance, continued her training in the three year contemporary diploma program, and graduated in May 2018. She then became a Fletcher Pilates provider fall of 2018 and successfully underwent the 500 hour hatha yoga teacher training fall in 2019 taught by Eliot Acuña.

From a very young age, Myrielle has been immersed in the teachings and practices of yoga and meditation thanks to both her parents who are devoted practitioners and particularly her mother who teaches Iyengar Yoga and Neelakantha Meditation, which Myrielle herself learned several years ago and practices. Because she has witnessed the benefits of yoga and meditation in her parents’ lives, and the positive impact it has had for all of her family and herself, Myrielle naturally fell in love with yoga and, as a dancer, with the physical practice of asana or postural yoga that provides a way of moving that is beneficial for both the body and the mind. So in turn, she delights in sharing it with others, so everyone can discover the benefits that yoga and Pilates provides.
