Blue Throat Yoga

Maṇḍala

of Practice

A Blue Throat Yoga Maṇḍala of Practices is a meditation retreat. It can be three hours, a half day, a full day or even several days. On this page, is posted the information on the Blue Throat Yoga Maṇḍala of Practices offered throughout the year by Eliot.

Eliot will offer a three-day Blue Throat Maṇḍala of practice, from August 18 to 21, 2024 at Centre Tara in the Eastern Townships. Maṇḍala of practices are meditation retreats. In addition to practicing our Neelakantha Meditation each day in alternation with other supportive practices, during maṇḍalas of practices, we also take time to reflect on precious sacred teachings on consciousness to clarify our understanding of the Self, our practices, our life and path.

Devote an entire day to practice, study and deep contemplation. During the one-day retreat, we will be practicing our Neelakantha Meditation several times, alternating with sequences of other potent practices including āsanas (yoga postures), prāṇāyāma (breathing techniques), japa (mantra recitation), and deep contemplation, all meant to support the growth of the knowledge of the Self.
