The Five Acts of Śiva: the great dance of the universe. Yoga workshop IN FRENCH with Eliot at Espace Sundara (Sherbrooke), April 26 to 28, 2024. Everything that exists emerges in a great dance, explain the non-dualistic tantric teachings. Śiva, absolute consciousness, dances. And each step vibrates to the rhythm of the five acts, the pañcakṛtyas. Like Śiva, we are each a dancer, constantly performing these same five acts. Realizing this is the liberating act. During this workshop, we'll turn our attention to the teachings of sūtras 10 to 13 of Kṣemarāja's Pratyabhijñā-hṛdayam. In Tune with the Moon. The Red Cycle with Eliot. Did you know that there are postures to be avoided during menses? Did you know there are sequences of āsanas recommended during menses? Did you know that you can alleviate menstrual discomfort and mood swings with the help of āsana and prāṇāyāma practice? This and more will be explored and practiced during this workshop. Eliot will guide the Satyuga samkalpa maṇḍala practice, during which we bring together by way of a potent circle of mantra and meditation our intentions for planetary benevolence. Once a month on Fridays, 5pm to 6pm. Free-- Everyone warmly welcome.

Throughout our life as practitioners of deep meditation, we will experience fluctuations, a bit like the seasons. Sometimes the practice seems easy and sunny, sometimes it seems more arid, other times stormy. To support ourselves and to reap the highest benefits the practice brings, even during the most arduous seasons, it is necessary to develop understanding. This year's theme is bhāvanā, a practice taught in Blue Throat Yoga that consists in accessing deep subtle levels within to answer our questions. On October 15, Eliot will teach and guide the practice of bhāvanā and answer questions concerning bhāvanā and meditation. There will also be time for group practice.

From Earth to Sky - a 3-day Iyengar Yoga summer retreat with Eliot is meant to give us time and space away from daily activities to bring more focus and devotion to practice and uncover the cit-akaśa, sky of consciousness which, for most of us, remains hidden in plain sight. By way of study we will consider and gain insight into what is real, what is true, what is important and what is standing in the way of that knowledge.  Through potent and effective yoga practices we transform, refine and grow to experience the blissful freedom of being of both Earth and Sky. August 14 to 7, 2024 at Centre Tara de Bonsecours (Eastern Townships). 

Maṇḍalas of practice are meditation retreats. During maṇḍalas of practices, we reflect on precious sacred teachings on consciousness to clarify our understanding of the Self, our practices, our life and path. Over the course of several days, we meditate more often, perform gentle asana, take walks in nature, and perform a variety of other supportive practices. For Neelakantha Initiates.
