While focusing on core stability and efficiency of movement, this 10-week pilates-based course is designed to meet the needs and abilities of each individual by encouraging body awareness through a series of progressive exercises focusing on abdominal muscles, strength and flexibility. Movers of all ages and abilities are welcome! No experience is required, however a yoga mat is recommended.

About Carrie Innes:

My name is Carrie Innes and I am a certified pilates instructor, based in Aylmer, Quebec.

From my personal experience, I believe that pilates is the ideal exercise for toning, strengthening and healing the body – regardless of age, ability or level of fitness.

Having recently recovered from a knee reconstruction, as well as the Caesarian birth of my daughter, I know that pilates is an amazing way to prepare for, and recover, from surgery. As someone that has suffered from chronic pain due to a car accident in my youth, I also know that pilates helps the body cope with, and heal from an acute or sustained injury. And, as an athlete, pilates has helped me to develop my core strength and body awareness like no other fitness activity.

My goal is to help people discover the power of pilates - to help people look and feel their very best. As Joseph Pilates once stated,  "Physical fitness is the first requisite of happiness. In 10 sessions you'll feel the difference, in 20 sessions you'll see the difference, in 30 sessions you'll have a new body."

I look forward to working with you!
